About

“The unexamined life is not worth living.” - Socrates

I am an Educational Psychologist and Registered Psychometrist.

My work is largely centred on assessment and understanding — taking time to make sense of how learning, thinking, development, neurodiversity, disability, trauma, identity, life transitions, and broader context come together to shape how people function across the lifespan. I value careful assessment, thoughtful interpretation, and practical recommendations that can be meaningfully applied in everyday life, education, and work settings.

A key area of interest in both my professional work and research is disability and inclusion, particularly how educational, vocational, and organisational environments can better support differently-abled individuals. I pay close attention to the ways in which systems and environments, rather than ability alone, influence access, participation, and outcomes.

Therapeutic intervention and consultation form part of my practice and are guided by formulation and individual needs. Where therapy is indicated, my work is responsive and goal-directed, with attention to what is most helpful within each person’s context.

I aim to offer a non-judgemental, person-centred, and LGBTQIA+-affirming space. As an adoptive parent, and through lived experience within a family affected by acquired brain injury, I have a deep appreciation for the complexity of family systems, caregiving, and life transitions. This perspective shapes the care I take in understanding each person within their broader relational, developmental, and contextual world.
